SEPHORA VIB ROUGE HAUL (NOV 2017)
I don't know if I'm ashamed or proud I hit VIB Rouge at Sephora this year, but during this holiday season, it definitely feels like success. If you were a VIB Rouge member, you got to shop early from 11/3/17-11/6/17. These are the items I picked up with my 20% off entire purchase discount. If you missed the sale, don't worry!
The sale is open to all Rewards members 11/10/17-11/15/17:
WHAT I BOUGHT:
I placed 2 orders, so I'll give you a recap of what I bought + my thoughts on the products. I'll review the second set once I receive them :)
- Ouai Rose Hair & Body Oil
I bought a pack of travel-size Ouai products to try and this is one of my favorites. It has replaced Moroccanoil treatment, which I used to use every day after showering. I prefer the scent of the Ouai + it is cheaper.
- Kat Von D setting spray
Again, I tried the travel-size before committing to the full-size and it is the best setting spray I've ever tried. HG status. Definitely had to stock up with the biggest bottle I could find. I also love that Kat Von D is a vegan / cruelty-free brand. Mad respect + I can actually feel good about buying this product.
- Stila Stay All Day eyeliner
This product lives up to its name, which is why I continue to use it year after year. It's my absolute favorite eyeliner and I don't mess with anything else. It really stays ALL DAY ALL DAY.
- FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Match Stix Trio
I was so excited for this because I swatched the shade "Trippin" in stores and it was magical. When I saw it came in a 3-pack with a stick to conceal & a stick to contour at a discount, I caved. Unfortunately I don't think I'm as big of a fan of cream highlighter nor stick contour so I will not be repurchasing. The packaging is beautiful though & they're magnetized so they stick together + are easy to find in a pinch.
- FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna primer
I bought this in hopes of finding a primer to really blur / smooth out my skin but did not find that it did anything notable. Unfortunately I will not be repurchasing either.
IGK Smoke & Mirrors Conditioning Cleansing Oil
I've been considering trying a co-wash for a while, so this fit the bill. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm a co-wash person -- I noticed some flakes in my hair after using, so I won't be repurchasing. Such a bummer because the packaging is so beautiful & it smells amazing. *tear*
And here's what I got in wave 2. I can't wait to receive them! I'll let you know what I think once they come in.
- dyson Blown-A-Ouai set
I'm still having a hard time justifying this one to myself, but the fact that it came with all the add ons was a definite plus. Buy now, think later -- especially with an added discount.
- tarte Tartelette Toasted eyeshadow palette
I was trying to decide between this palette & the Naked Heat palette because I was looking for warmer eyeshadows to add to my collection. I ultimately went with the tarte one because I already own + love tarte's In Bloom palette -- the formula seems to hold up better on my lids than UD's plus, as an added bonus, the palette smells delicious for some reason!
- MILK MAKEUP Lip Metal
Swatched this in store and it was stunning. I don't own any lip product like it. I. Can't. Wait.
